Racer Steel was formed in Santiago de Chile in 2017 by guitarist Necrocristo, who joined forces with Mr Steel, Thanos, Speedmaniac and Eduardo Hormazabal to begin their assault on the Chilean metal scene. After Eduardo left in 2019, Jonny the Beast took over vocals, while that same year the band released their Living On The Edge EP through Chilean label Savage Records. The EP received strong reviews from the worldwide metal community. In 2020 Racer Steel recorded their debut album, No Time To Go Back — seven devastating hymns of metal now released by Metal Warrior Records. With Mr Steel subsequently leaving the band and Cristobal joining on guitar, Racer Steel are already working towards their second album.
