SHADOWKILLER is a classic heavy metal band from Sacramento, California, formed around guitarist and vocalist Joe Liszt, bassist Dan Lynch and drummer Gary Neff. The band combines traditional heavy metal with an epic and melodic approach, drawing on themes of ancient battles, mythology, religion and legendary warriors.
Their 2018 debut full-length Guardians Of The Temple delivers nine lengthy tracks of powerful, melodic heavy metal. The album moves between driving traditional metal and more epic compositions, with songs inspired by subjects ranging from the Crusades and the Knights Templar to Greek mythology and fantasy.
Metal Warrior Records released Guardians Of The Temple on vinyl in 2020, introducing the album to a wider audience of traditional and melodic metal fans. With its strong melodies, heavy riffs and epic atmosphere, SHADOWKILLER's debut stands firmly in the tradition of classic American heavy metal while carrying its own modern identity.
