DAMAGED

Damaged grew out of the New York heavy metal band Frigid Bich, whose 1984 Tyrants of a Generation demo became a classic and was later reissued as a compilation LP. After Frigid Bich ended, the core of the group joined forces with friends from Massapequa Park and began writing and rehearsing in early 1986. Within months Damaged had become a regular presence on the New York, Connecticut and New Jersey live circuit. Their Riot demo appeared as a cassette in early 1987 and attracted interest from New Renaissance and Profile Records, although neither deal materialised. The band nevertheless shared stages with Cro-Mags, Leeway, Carnivore, Wendy O. Williams and Armored Saint before recording another demo in 1988 and disbanding the following year. More than thirty years later, the five original members reunited with plans for a new album. In the meantime, Metal Warrior Records presents the band's early recordings together with a brand-new recording.
